"I teach ecological and regenerative design at Yestermorrow Design Build School in Vermont. We have used Pueblo Verde as a laboratory for the past two years. My students have had the opportunity to develop an entire community model at Pueblo Verde, integrating real world, physical, and financial constraints with ecological and permaculture design concepts. The results have been wonderful! Using what Tom Peifer has built and planted at ECV as a overlay for site development and house design, the students come away with an expanded understanding of what the future can look like and how we can change how we think about development.
