Annual Gathering Examines Community Goals
Each year Pueblo Verde lot owners and developers gather to discuss the past year’s successes and challenges and plan for future community needs and goals. The group met on March 1st and the overall feedback on the year in review was very positive. All roads and common areas were maintained by our full-time gardener, fruit plantings thrived on the common lot, two new lots were sold, and our Estate Manager resolved a bureaucratic hurdle confirming full titling of all the lots in Pueblo Verde.
This year, the homeowners will work together to install concrete tracks up a very steep slope in the road, improve water management in other areas of the road, and begin the legal process of forming an association for our community. The association will facilitate the collection and dispersal of community funds for approved projects and will bring neighbors together to make decisions on the future of Pueblo Verde.
Some of the future projects that were discussed include a community garden on Lot 11 and a simply designed community swimming pool.
Though we’re a small neighborhood of just 14 homesites, we are creating a community rather than just a development of vacation houses. Each individual’s feedback and skill set is invited to contribute to making Pueblo Verde a better place.
